Coral Flora Villa, Gili T Island, Bali

We visited Gilli T in the Indonesian Islands off Bali for Amanda’s 30th Birthday so it was only fitting that we stayed in an incredible villa.

We arrived on Gili T from Bali mainland by ferry (it’s about 1.5 hours drive from Seminyak and a 1 hour boat ride) and the staff were already there from Coral Flora Villa waiting to meet us. They really made our stay special and easy the entire time we were there!

There’s four generous sized bedrooms (six if you hire the back rooms too) each with their own bathroom. The rooms are joint by a huge entertaining area, kitchen and lounge that opens up the the pool and front yard. There’s also the ‘bamboo bar’ that looks so cool, people from outside think it’s a hotel bar to come in and visit! This is where your breakfast is cooked each morning and you can purchase beverages.

The villa is away from the party side of the island (it’s only an hour by bike to go right around the whole island so not that far if you decide to party) and directly across from the beach where you have private access and the best sunsets!

With eight people staying at the villa, it was very affordable to rent and included four staff and breakfast. It’s the perfect place for celebrations and they’ve had a number of weddings there too. For Amanda’s birthday we had organised a beach dinner set up with a BBQ and bonfire and the staff went all out. There was even handmade a flower chandelier to go over the top. It looked incredible and the BBQ was amazing with fresh fish and local delicacies.

There’s bikes to use free of charge and the staff can organise anything you like. We indulged in massages in the massage huts by the beach, had wine delivered and a snorkel / island hopping trip organised.

I highly recommend hiring Coral Flora Villa and relaxing on the Gilli T for a few days. You just can’t beat island time and there’s so many beautiful spots to explore around the island to swim, eat and drink.

You can rent the villa here.
