Little Saigon – Yaletown

Vietnamese in Yaletown! And it’s good!

It’s been a long time since I’ve been able to eat pho. I had a very bad experience in Vietnam that I won’t go into details on but that was in 09′ and I haven’t had any since.

Anyway! Wanted a break from work from Thursday so I headed over to Little Saigon and have the rare beef pho a go!

I chose the smaller size, it was the perfect size for me and delicious.

Nice broth, lots of rare beef, decent amount of noodles and yummy sprouts to throw on top. All for $8.

There’s quite a bit on the menu I’d like to try so I’m sure I will be back!

  1. mmm I love vietnamese. Tried Pho once in Melbourne, because my sister loves it, but it wasn’t my thing. However, vietnamese food is the shiz! haha who says “shiz” anymore?! But it is 🙂 Good to know where I can go to get some when I get back!

  2. I had some great pho in a tiny family-run restaurant in Saigon last June, but I haven’t had any since. What I would “kill” for is some really great bánh mi (baguette sandwiches) and gỏi cuốn (summer rolls) here in Vancouver. I guess I’ll have to keep reading your blog and/or your tweets to find out. 😉 Thanks for your post of this Yaletown joint, R!
