Living in the area I often visit the Story Bridge Hotel, but I don’t always eat there. Generally, my activities involve beverages.
I ordered the shellfish linguine with prawns, scallops and a white wine sauce. It was okay. Probably shouldn’t have ordered Italian at a bar but it struck my fancy. The sauce was average and the scallops overcooked. More on the seafood and less on the pasta would have been ideal.
My Uncle ordered the petite eye fillet and his meal looked, and apparently was, very good.
Lesson: order pub food at pub.
