Green Papaya, Woolloongabba, Brisbane

I’d heard really mixed reviews about Green Papaya. Seems to be hit and miss with its paleo type menu.
The setting is nice, wait staff pleasant. Really limited lunch menu unless you want breakfast.

I ordered the crispy fish spicy tacos and we shared the sweet potato chips between us.

The chips were good, same as your regular sweet potato chips you get anywhere.

There were three tacos on the plate and the fish sure was crispy. The jalapeños ensured the taco was spicy and the slaw kept it fresh.

It was nice and I was full. I hydrated with a whole coconut then dehydrated with a smooth glass of pinot noir.

Normal price point for that kind of relaxed dining. Might go back to try the dinner menu but not for lunch.

An interesting observation by my colleague was that there was only one other male dining. They were all female.
