CEO Cook Off Brisbane 2016 

How good does helping people feel?!

I had the pleasure of helping fundraise for Wiley in the CEO Cook Off which pairs CEO’s with celeb chefs to raise funds not only Australia’s most vulnerable but also to raise awareness around food waste. 

Tom (our inspirational MD) with Wiley raised $17,785 for needy Australians! We came second in Brisbane and 14th nationally. Every $1 donated to the CEO CookOff can create 2 meals. That’s 35k+ meals! 

We were paired (yes, they even let me cook) with Josue Lopez from GOMA who had an amazing meal planned. Two types of bruschetta to start, lamb poached in Beetroot (I did that part – it looked like a murder scene) juice with roasted Beetroot strips, a feta purée, a pea purée and macadamia nuts. Pavlova with fresh berries for dessert. 

Amazing atmosphere, truly deserving guests and a fantastic cause. Well done Oz Harvest!
