Bella Gelato is in the perfect spot for people watching. Try to grab a table on the patio so you can watch all the locals stroll by with their dogs while the marina looks picturesque across the road.
Heather, Amanda and I stopped by for happy hour as I LOVE the mimosas there. You see, they add in a dollop of gelato on top and it melts in to your drink – so good!!
We shared the burrata cheese (my fave!) which I always have when I visit. It’s dense and creamy and silky and heavenly and… You get my drift.
We also shared the bruschetta which is a really light variation. Lightly crisped bread slices with caprese cheese, tomato, arugula and of course a healthy dose of balsamic!
I hear their pizzas are true Italian and a must try too but I couldn’t fit it in.
The next day while we were waiting on coffee there we met the owner. What a passionate man! He was fantastical speak to and really cared about the community he lived in and the food he shares. He loves a challenge – see what you can come up with!
