This is the perfect bar to laze around and watch the sunset over the beach with a cocktail.
We walked down the road about 5 mins from our resort, Coolum Seaside and came across Canteen Kitchen and Bar. We were straight in and hoping for a seat out the front to sit and people watch. There’s cushions laid out across the front benches – they’re were in popular demand.
The girls cooled down with a beer each while I had a cocktail made with refreshing lemon, ginger and… I can’t remember what else, but damn it was good! There was alcohol, definitely alcohol.
It also looks like a fab place to go for food. It was really busy and they had a locals special for $55 for two meals and a bottle of wine! The breakfast menu looked delish too.
Obviously a popular spot for the locals and it definitely the most buzz in Coolum. I’ll be back for sure!
