What a beautiful and luxe, salon environment! I’m a huge fan of relaxing at beautiful salons and LaBella fits that to a tee. Not only is the salon stunning, but there’s also no smell due to their use of organic and vegan products. I hate that smell when I visit other salons and can only imagine what impact it has on us. It reminded me of the beautiful salons I have visited across Asia, with a focus on the atmosphere of the salon for chilling out in a luxe space.
I visited LaBella in Papanui as my cousin had recommended it to me. I decided to have my brows done with henna and indulge in a pedicure package.
I had the Sun-Kissed Skin Pedicure package and it was just divine. So, so relaxing and I just LOVE that there is no chemical smell in the salon! La Bella had their own furniture built too, so that you’re leaning back on a high-end day bed to enjoy your treatment.

I loved my henna brow tint and shape and I also had an eyelash tint at the same time. I find henna works best for me as my brows are naturally quite dark and the henna stays on the skin for weeks. My favourite part was the massage Mia gave while it was processing – soooo relaxing. I kept repeating to myself – ‘don’t fall asleep, don’t fall asleep.’
Mia was full of expertise and happy to share her recommendations and knowledge about the products, services and salon. One of the key unique features of the salon is their organic, vegan and high hygiene focus. Tools are kept in packages, opened in front of you. Nail buffers and files are only used once. Even their foot bowls are made of copper which is naturally antibacterial!
