I often stay with friends in Point Chevalier in Auckland and we finally made it to Francesca’s Pizzeria.
This spot is known for its authentic Neapolitan pizza and every time I drive past there is a queue outside. Our visit was no different.
We put in our order and walked up the road to enjoy a cocktail on the pavement seating while we waiting the 45ish mins for the pizzas (and a pasta) to be ready.
There’s also a great bottle shop just across the street with beautiful unique wines at Fine-O-Wine. So grab your pizza and head over to choose a bottle to enjoy it with.
From Francesca’s Pizzeria we ordered the Alla Toto and Primavera pizzas and a chicken fettuccine, but swapped out the creamy sauce for Neapolitan. The pizzas were delicious. Crispy and charred crusts with generous helpings of toppings. I loved them both. The Fettucine wasn’t made with fresh pasta but it was still very good and enjoyable.
I would 100% go back again for pizza anytime. I devoured these ones so fast I even forgot to take pics. The pic below is a quick one I flicked to my Mum to tell her how good it was mid-mouthful!
Highly recommend a visit.
