Partying in Uluwatu

Uluwatu is home to some of Bali’s best beach clubs and nightlife spots, perfect for dancing from day to night. F

El Kabron – A fantastic experience. We booked a VIP table and spent the day and night enjoying the atmosphere. The highlight was the live musicians who moved through the dance floor, creating an unforgettable energy. A great spot to transition from sunset drinks into a lively night.

Savaya – One of Bali’s most renowned clubs, perched on the cliffs with panoramic ocean views. The international DJ lineup makes it a top choice for an evening out.

Tabu – A newer addition to the Uluwatu nightlife scene, offering a mix of luxury, mystery, and a lively atmosphere.

Dinner Spots Worth Visiting

Uluwatu has a thriving dining scene, but these two stood out.

Mason – A well-regarded spot with multiple locations in Bali, known for high-quality meats, well-crafted cocktails, and a stylish yet casual atmosphere.

Tabu Supper Club – A great venue with a fantastic fit-out. The T-bone steak was a standout, and the overall dining experience was excellent.

Breakfast Spots Worth Waking Up For

Bali does breakfast and brunch exceptionally well. These two were our favourites.

Ours – A relaxed café with a fusion of Balinese and Australian café culture.

Gooseberry – A boutique café with an inviting atmosphere, serving fresh, high-quality dishes and strong coffee.

Drinks with a View

Sunset drinks and ocean views are essential in Uluwatu. These two spots delivered.

Ulu Clifftops – An exceptional place for sunset drinks with sweeping ocean views.

Single Fin – A classic Bali beach bar overlooking Uluwatu’s surf breaks. Ideal for a relaxed drink while watching surfers.

Best Snack Stop

Laurent’s Chicken – An unmissable stop for a quick but delicious bite.

Visit Padang Padang Beach – One of Bali’s most famous beaches, known for its crystal-clear waters, white sand, and world-class surf breaks.

Learn to Surf – Uluwatu is a surfing paradise, whether you’re a beginner or an expert. Surf schools and board rentals are easy to find.

Getting Around

Grab / Gojek – Bali’s ride-sharing apps are the easiest and most affordable way to get around.

Hire a Scooter – The best way to explore, but only if you are comfortable riding in Bali’s traffic and road conditions.

Where to Stay

Villas Over Hotels – Uluwatu is known for its stunning private villas, rather than large hotels. While villas offer space, luxury, and privacy, they are often more remote, meaning transport is essential.
